I won’t ever forget the afternoon my friend and I spent hanging out at the mall.

We were walking out of a shoe store. She was talking, I was listening, you know how it goes.

She stopped mid-sentence as a boy passed by us on the way into the store.

A cute boy.

“Hey,” he said, winking as he passed us by, “you dropped your smile.”

We were so awestruck that he was speaking to us that the sentence didn’t register as quickly as it should have. We turned around to see what we had dropped and by the time we looked back up he was gone.

Our smiles.
We had dropped them.

Oh, we laughed so hard. But I have never forgotten his reminder. A smile is an important thing. You should use yours.

All day today.

Let your smile change the world.
