When December comes it fills right up with toys and tinsel, music and magic, parties and presents. My first inclination is to embrace all of it, oh how I love Christmas.

But every year a part of my heart calls out for the simpleness of a stable Christmas.

A manger Christmas. A Christmas centered on Christ.

Behind every decoration, every stocking, every gift, there within the stable, in the manger, on the straw we discover one gift wrapped up in swaddling clothes. The gift that holds all of the meaning behind Christmas…a gift that reminds us of the giving.

God gave us His Son.

And that’s how Christmas began.

Christmas is about giving.

And Christ went to the homeless, he healed the sick, he visited the lonely, he saw those forgotten, he remembered each one…by giving. He gave His heart. What if this Christmas we gave ours?

Join us for 24 days of giving.

It’s simple, all you need is this printable, a spinner, and your heart.

In our home we put everything we need for this journey in a bucket beside this printable, and everyday we will pick one act of kindness and share a little bit of our heart.

The printable can be downloaded by clicking here.

(You can also download the individual cards we share on Instagram each day by clicking here.)

Merry Christ Centered Christmas to you!

Embrace the giving.
